Position Summary:
GLIDEs Womens Centeris seeking acompassionateand organizedProgramCoordinator tosupportthedeliveryof services forindividuals who identify as women who are in immediate need of housing essential needs (e.g. food clothes hygiene supplies) health and mental health services navigation and case management support group support etc. due to homelessness gender-based violence and trauma. The Womens Center will assess clients needs provide information and support to overcome barriers provide early intervention and case management. The Womens Center Program Coordinator willassisttheSenior Directorto plan coordinate and implement the Centers programs and services provide direct services and support other general operations of the program such asfacilitate/co-facilitate groups and plan Center events. This individual will collaborate with thedirector staff and community partners to ensure compliance with multiple-funding sources and their requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop coordinate andmaintainrelationships and collaborations with GLIDEs programsestablishedand new community partners tobenefitparticipants and promote GLIDEs Womens Center.
- Be responsible forthe coordination creation maintenance of service and/or staff schedules and business documentation (e.g.reports flyers).
- Working in collaboration with case managers developanddocumentIndividualized Service Plans (ISPs) for clients including data entry and reporting through CRM tools.Be responsible fororganizing and managing Womens Center events which will involve coordinating all logistical aspects.
- Provide data coordination and quality assurance checks to ensure services meet predetermined standards and client satisfaction.
- Provide low-threshold advocacy and case management which includes referral linkages and assistanceto health health services legal aid and other human services and resources to support the client to reach their goals for improved safety wellness and quality of life.
- Conduct street and community outreach and attend community events to reach women and to promote the Womens Center.
- Collaborate with Directorto assign administrative tasks referrals cases etc. to program staff. Ensuretimelyreferral processing and allocation of new cases to other Womens Center staff.
- Perform triage intakesneeds assessments service planning service coordination and follow up contacts in person by email or phone with clients and other providers.
- Apply strength-based services that are centered around motivational interviewing cultural humility and trauma-informed care.
- Plan organize and oversee group sessions activities workshops and individual support serviesforclientsLead/co-facilitate women educational and empowerment groups virtually and onsite.
- Maintain files and database records to track client progress.Prepare reports success stories and challenges for internal review and reporting to external funders andstakeholders;Ensuretimelyandaccuratecompliance with all reporting requirements.
- Adhere to professional boundaries and standards. Understand and follow basisethics values and principles of regulatory practices. Adhere to all laws and requirements regarding HIPPA confidentiality child protective services contractual agreements etc.
- Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as collaborating with co-workers meeting deadlines honoring schedules attendand activelyparticipatingin staff and individualmeeting communitymeeting supervision case conferences clientconferencesand in-service trainings.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in relevant field (e.g. psychology social work sociology criminal justice)preferred;or at least four years of experience providing services (e.g. case management or coordinationofservices) to women experiencing homelessness domestic violence gender-based violence and/or have been incarcerated.
- Demonstrated understanding of the psycho-social and economic issues that impact women.
- Group facilitation experiencehelpful.
- Facilitates collaborationamong Womens Center staff and other GLIDE departments.
- Ability to develop processes and operations to support the implantation ofnew ideasand approaches.
- Knowledge of trauma informed approaches in supporting vulnerable women with a range of complex needs particularly women of color experience houselessness poverty and other traumatic experiences.
- Has the ability to work effectively across cultures.
- Ability to plan prioritize and organize tasks and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail particularly documentation of case files and updating database.
- Works well under pressure and manages stress effectively in a demanding and fast paced environment.

$25 - $30 an hour
This is a fulltime (30 hour/week) Non-Exempt position.
Work Environment
GLIDEs buildings are located in the Tenderloin maintains an open door policy to the community and its clients who frequently enter and leave the building.
This role is covered by the collective bargaining agreement.
