Salary Range: Thebudgeted salary range for the position is $55000 - $60000 annually. Salary iscompetitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience while alsoconsidering internal equity.

This position is located on the Rockford campus 90 miles northwest ofChicago. (On-Site Work Not Remote).

Position Summary:

Supportsand advances rural health workforce development initiatives across the NationalCenter for Rural Health Professions (NCRHP) with a primary focus on careerpathway programming student engagement and regional workforce alignment. Thisrole coordinates and implements programming spanning middle school throughprofessional training supports the Illinois AHEC Network and contributes toRural Health Transformation (RHT) workforce priorities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead coordination of Health Career Pathway Programs(middle school high school undergraduate and
    pipeline programs) and Career Tech PathwayInitiatives.
  • Coordinate curriculum delivery across pathways programming with LMS platforms.
  • Serveas liasion for pathways programs across regional workforce programming.
  • Serveas primary student engagement point of contact for students across pathwayprograms.
  • Serveas data manager of the Rural HPE program databases including developing andmaintaining an inventory of data files.
  • Create independently or with a team publications promoting and/or explaining the processes and results of the program.
  • Resolve scheduling logistics and operational issues.
  • Mentorstudents interested in rural health careers in collaboration with other NCRHPstaff

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree.
  2. A total of one (1) year (12 months) in education training and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position. (Note: Masters Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.)
  3. Basedon position requirements additional education training and/or workexperience in the area of specialization inherent to the position may berequired.

Additional education training and/or work experience in the area of specialization:

  1. 1year of education in a teaching social science communications publicrelations or related field.
  2. 1 year of work experience as a certified teacher curricular development or coordinating an educational program for middle school high school or college level students.
