The annual salary range of compensation for this position depends upon qualifications. The expected hiring salary may be less than the top of the range to allow for growth and development. This position may require occasional statewide travel for meetings and training.

About this Opportunity:
The Program Coordinatorsupports the agency mission by providing coordination and consultation for the agencys customer-facing programs including the technical assistance program (TAP) the financial assurance program (FA) and the underground storage tank (UST) and heating oil loan and grant programs. This position reports to the Project Planning & Programs Supervisor. The role will serve as the staff lead for the administration of the agencys state environmental protection agency (SEPA) related actions. This position is responsible for coordinating with the public participants of the programs and contracted professionals who provide services under the agencys financial assurance and loan and grant programs.The duties associated with this role include coordinating program implementation with senior staff and providing specialized consultation to members of the public scheduling program activities maintaining program technical assistance for participants and reviewing their eligibility for the Technical Assistance Program. The incumbent is responsible for providing support with program coordination for each of the following agencys programs: the Financial Assurance Program the UST Loan and Grant Programs and the HO Loan & Grant Program. Other duties include maintaining administrative assistance for participants of the Heating Oil Insurance Program (HOIP).

- Duties
Some of what youll be doing includes:
- Serve as the program lead for the Technical Assistance Program (TAP).
- Provide programmatic support and consultation to external users of PLIAs TAP.
- Review TAP applications for completeness and eligibility using specialized knowledge of the program.
- Coordinate and schedule program activities to ensure program goals are met including intake meetings with participants.
- Conduct periodic reviews of program participation to ensure the program procedures are being followed and timelines are being met.
- Provide information and consultation to customers about the requirements and procedures of the program.
- Assist the lead program specialists with the coordination and scheduling of program activities information management and other administrative program tasks.
- Assist with outreach activities and advise participants on program requirements both regionally and statewide.
- Serve as the administrative lead for the heating oil program insurance program (HOIP).
- Provide programmatic support and consultation to external users of PLIAs Heating Oil Insurance program.
- Track related information about HOIP sites to anticipate potential problems and plan for solutions.

Required Qualifications
Here are the multiple ways to meet the total of six (6) years of experience for this position:
OPTION 1
Six (6) years of experienceinplanning policy analysis coordination and consultation with a variety of private agencies organizations and/or levels of government.
OPTION 2
Associates degree and four (4) years of experience inplanning policy analysis coordination and consultation with a variety of private agencies organizations and/or levels of government.
OPTION 3
Bachelors degree or higher and two (2) years of experienceinplanning policy analysis coordination and consultation with a variety of private agencies organizations and/or levels of government.
**Equivalent combinations of education professional experience military service public service or other qualifying education may be substituted year for year for experience.
In addition to meeting the six (6) years of experience applicants must possess the following knowledge and competencies:- Knowledge of planning principles techniques environmental laws policies and programs.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent education and two years of experience including planning policy analysis coordination and consultation with a variety of public and private agencies organizations and/or levels of government.
