Job Summary
The position for Program Coordinator III for Northern Utah Home Visiting (NUHV) is a full-time position at Utah State University. The NUHV program is a national program funded through Utahs Department of Health and Human Services. This program is a curriculum-based program designed to enhance and improve parenting practices for specific populations. We are looking for a dynamic organized and efficient program coordinator who is ready to lead a meaningful and impactful program here in Cache Valley Utah.

- Administers and implements all of the aspects of the Parents as Teachers Program and NUHV contract.
- Manages and oversees the administrative and daily operations of a State Federal and University Program ensuring all Universitystate and federal policies and regulations are abided by.
- Works closely with Utah DHHS and any other necessary partners/agencies to facilitate the growth of the Home Visiting program.
- Ensures public and community awareness through child find activities participation in advisory committees and education ofprimary referral sources and community.
- Responsible for Direct Hiring training and retention of qualified home visiting personnel and support personnel.
- Monitor and administer program revenues and expenses; participate in finance discussions during financial meetings with directorsor AD.
- Coordinate with program Champion ensuring PAT model is executed to fidelity.
- Collects and analyzes data; prepares scheduled and special reports; maintains program records and statistical information incompliance with DHHS NUHV and USU.
- Assure compliance and execution of PAT requirements and reflective supervision of NUHV home visitors.
- Writes edits and coordinates the development of policy and procedures promotional materials educational materials and trainingmanuals as appropriate to the program.
- Ensuring the program meets Annual Performance Review Indicators State Targets PAT Requirements and related CorrectiveActions.
- Engage in direct service of the NUHV program providing services using the PAT model.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field plus two years of relevant work experience in early childhood; or a masters degree in a relatedfield; or an equivalent combination of education plus experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluent in spoken and written Spanish.
- Knowledge of principles and practices related to Home Visiting and Parents as Teachers curriculum and/or PAT certification.
- Knowledge of research and information-gathering methods and procedures.
- Knowledge of communication principles media and marketing techniques.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
- Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Good at identifying resources and establishing priorities.

- Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.

Funding Statement
The Institute for Disability Research Policy & Practice is one of the largest research and outreach centers at USU and we are largely funded through grants contracts and fee-for-service programs. All staff positions at the IDRPP are contingent upon funding and all senior staff at the IDRPP with graduate degrees are responsible for helping to generate funding to support our operations and growth.
