Job Purpose:
Under general supervision the Program Coordinator II coordinates responses to course maintenance issues facilitates resolution with stakeholders manages the purchasing licensing and renewal of instructional materials and design tools and maintains course and catalog documentation to ensure accuracy currency and compliance with program requirements.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate Course Maintenance:Coordinate the programs response to course maintenance issues and facilitate resolution with appropriate stakeholders.
- Coordinate Resource Procurement:Coordinate the purchasing licensing and renewal processes for instructional materials and design tools used by the VirtualSC program and its courses.
- Deliver Technology Training: Plan coordinate and deliver training that supports VirtualSC faculty and staff in the effective use of program resources instructional tools and technology.
- Maintain Course Documentation: Maintain program documentation for VirtualSC courses and the course catalog and ensure all documents remain accurate current and compliant with program requirements.
- Strengthen Program Coordination Skills: Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance the knowledge skills and competencies required for coordinating program resources service delivery processes and daily administrative activities.
- Conduct Program Research: Conduct special projects research and other assignments under the direction of the Curriculum Team Lead; prepare reports and recommendations as needed.
This position is located in the Office of VirtualSC.- Minimum and Additional Requirements
A bachelors degree and relevant program experience. - Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Education Educational Technology Instructional Design Business Administration Communications or a related field.
- Three (3) or more years of professional experience in project coordination educational operations academic program support instructional technology curriculum support or a related field.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects processes or initiatives while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience supporting K-12 online or virtual learning programs.
- Experience coordinating course maintenance curriculum updates instructional resources licensing vendor relationships or educational technology implementations.
- Experience planning facilitating or delivering professional development and training for educators and staff.
- Experience maintaining program documentation procedures course catalogs or compliance-related records.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including educators vendors program staff and leadership.
- Proficiency with office productivity software learning management systems instructional technologies or other educational technology tools.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills including the ability to maintain accurate records documentation and operational workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports documentation and training materials. Ability to exercise sound judgement work independently and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of learning management systems digital instructional resources accessibility considerations and online learning best practices.
