PROGRAM COORDINATOR EVENTS & COMMUNICATIONS Corporate Relations-Industrial Liaison Program & MIT Startup Exchange serves as the operational link between the Communications and Events functions within MIT Corporate Relations. This role supports the planning execution and follow-up of webinars conferences executive briefings and ILP member events by coordinating event logistics attendee communications registration systems content management and post-event reporting. Working across multiple teams this position helps ensure a consistent experience before during and after each event while improving processes documentation and operational efficiency. The role reports to the Director of Communications Events Research & Operations and collaborates closely with both the Events and Communications teams. The focus areas of responsibility are: Event Operations Communications & Content Coordination Data Management & Reporting and Process Improvement & Documentation.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelors degree; a minimum of two years of experience supporting professional events conferences webinars or executive programs; experience with event registration platforms such as Cvent or Eventbrite; strong organizational and project coordination skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience managing data and preparing reports; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail; customer service and stakeholder support skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams; flexibility to work occasional evenings early mornings and weekends during events. PREFERRED: Advanced knowledge of Cvent; experience with Salesforce / CRM systems; experience supporting virtual and hybrid events; familiarity with AI productivity tools for writing summarization and workflow automation; experience managing digital content including YouTube or similar platforms; and experience working in higher education research organizations or member-based organizations.
