Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides technical and professional support services for the Office of Major Fellowships. Assists with the coordination of services and activities that support students applying for nationally competitive fellowships and scholarships. Maintains records of student participation applications and competition results; provides technical assistance and information to students faculty and staff; coordinates office activities and events; and supports financial and operational functions. Performs other duties as assigned.JOB DUTIES:
15% - Program Communications and Event SupportAssists with the planning and coordination of workshops information sessions meetings and special events. Develops and distributes program communications; maintains program listservs calendars and outreach materials; coordinates logistics for program activities; and assists in gathering information to evaluate participation trends and support office reporting needs. 20% - Program Operations and Financial Support
Supports operational activities necessary for program delivery. Processes purchasing reimbursements requisitions invoices payment requests and other financial transactions in accordance with University and State regulations. Maintains financial documentation and serves as a point of contact for vendors and program-related financial matters. Exercises judgment in applying established policies and procedures. 40% - Program Coordination Records Management and Process Improvement
Coordinates activities supporting the Office of Major Fellowships operations and student engagement efforts. Maintains records databases and historical data related to student applications for nationally competitive fellowships and scholarships. Tracks student participation application submissions supporting materials and competition results to ensure accurate and complete records. Compiles organizes and reports data for internal and external stakeholders and supports the preparation of reports presentations and informational materials. Reviews data collection tracking and reporting processes and recommends improvements to systems workflows and tools used to gather maintain and present information. Maintains current knowledge of assigned program areas and applicable University policies and procedures. 25% - Technical Assistance and Customer Service
Provides technical assistance and program support to students faculty staff and external stakeholders. Responds to routine inquiries regarding program processes deadlines and requirements and refers complex or specialized questions to appropriate program staff. Assists participants in accessing resources and services coordinates advising appointments and serves as a liaison between the Office of Major Fellowships and university partners.

A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelors degree may be substituted for the required program experience.

Expected Salary Range
$20 - $23 per hourSalary is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to a candidates previous experience knowledge skills and performance in accordance with Clemsons compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL:
Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.JOB LOCATION:
