Quality and Quantity of Work
Maintains 4-H Clubs. Periodically attends 4-H Club meetings.
Maintains working relationship with all 4-H leaders members and parents.
Recruits adult volunteer leaders youth and volunteers to form 4-H clubs and grow the community 4-H enrollment/program.
Follows up promptly with questions and requests for information.
Maintains accurate 4-H records and submits reports by deadlines.
Displays acknowledge of 4-H policies and procedures.
Stays informed of all county district and state 4-H events competitions camps activities etc. Informs 4-H leaders members and parents of all county district and state 4-H events competitions camps activities etc. Assists 4-Her in preparation for events and competitions.
Plans organizes sets-up conducts and cleans-up after all 4-H events competitions and activities in the county.
Conducts regular 4-H leader training meetings.
Program Delivery
Shows sensitivity to individual needs based on culture race gender and age.
Coordinated with agents to conducting educational programs in schools and the community.
Evaluates the county 4-H program for impact.
Communication
Communicates the benefits and goals of the 4-H program to clientele.
Makes sure youth parents and adult leaders are aware of events activates meetings and any registration deadlines.
Uses social media virtual tools and newsletters to communicate.
Uses local newspaper social media and other tools to promote 4-H.
Listens to feedback and acts to improve.
Teamwork
Shares information expertise and resources with others.
Is part of the county Extension Service team to insure and success of the whole Extension program.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must have reliable transportation for use on the job with liability insurance in effect.
Must successfully complete the standard background check which includes the Arkansas Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Check.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Ability to conduct programs and work with all clientele regardless of race color national origin religion gender age disability marital or veteran status or any other legally protected status. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to keep accurate records and submit timely reports of activities. Ability to respond positively to supervisor direction. Ability to work without close daily supervision.
