Build the Future of Flight. Volt is hiring an 1st Shift Aircraft Assembly Technician I in Colorado Springs CO.

What Youll Do

• Assemble aircraft seating components and subassemblies according to work instructions and blueprints.
• Use hand tools power tools measuring devices and assembly equipment.
• Inspect parts for proper fit and quality.
• Gather materials and components needed for production.
• Package finished products as required.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety quality and workplace procedures.
• Work overtime as needed to support production schedules.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read blueprints with guidance.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with aerospace automotive or mechanical assembly.
• Familiarity with aircraft fasteners rivets bolts and hardware.
• Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Pay & Benefits

• $19.50 per hour
• 1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm M-F

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
