JOBSUMMARY
This positionwill be ensuring product is being manufactured to meet the quality standards overseeing their assignedareaand reporting any issues to thelead orsupervisorimmediately.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Comply withSafety Policiesand Procedures
Regular attendancetimelinessand scheduling flexibility
Feed the production lines by picking up product and placing them onto a conveyor
Perform daily safety checks on the Machine assigned to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Notify the Line Supervisor of any safetyqualityor maintenance problems
Move completed product onto a rack and perform visual inspection for defect before placing onto a pallet
Ensure the right amount of product is going onto a pallet
All other duties as assigned by supervisor
KNOWLEDGESKILLSAND ABILITIES
Basic mathematical skills (i.e.ability to add subtract multiply and divide)
Effective communicationskills
Team player reliable and strong work ethic
EDUCATIONAND/OR EXPERIENCE
Able to readcomprehendand follow simple instructions.
1 Year general labor experience in similar setting (experience with roll formers punch presses brake presses preferred)
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKENVIRONMENT
The employee shouldpossessthe ability to:
Be exposed to sounds or noise levels thatmaybe uncomfortable
Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out
Prolong standing or in stationary position
Complete repetitive movements
Bendand/or twist
Lift/move/transport items up to50 pounds
Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
Ability to work around dust chemicals and other substances and in various environmental conditions
Wear all required personal protective equipment(hearingvisionand hardhat protection)
