Production Welder

The Royal Group (TRG)currently has a position open for a Production Welder in Sidney Ohio. A Welder is responsible for assembling pieces of metal together or repairing damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heat melting the metal into shape. Their duties include reviewing blueprints to include but not limited to squareness dimensional tolerances and any other attributes defined in the specifications; perform spot and finish welding into the appropriate shapes. Wire feed mig welding Griding and assembly as neededContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as positive working relationships with employees and with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and duties as EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or GEDTechnical SkillsVocational/technical certificationFabricatingWeldingFabricatingRead blueprints/drawingsAbility to learn and follow instructionsLanguage SkillsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from local management to communication through written and verbal language Mathematical SkillsAble to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to apply concepts of high school AbilityAbility to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand walk and sit. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be usually loud.
