You will perform routine welding and fitting tasks that support product and process improvements helping the team meet safety and quality objectives. You will work primarily onsite on the 2nd shift (MondayFriday 1:30 PM10:00 PM) and collaborate with production and quality stakeholders to deliver assembled metal fabrications.

• Prepare weld and finish various types of welds using appropriate equipment and processes
• Manufacture and assemble metal fabrications (ferrous and non-ferrous) and mechanical components from drawings
• Maintain consistent standards of work and comply with regulatory and Quality Assurance requirements
• Support product improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve function efficiency and quality
• Help maintain a safe work environment and meet safety goal objectives
• Maintain regular consistent and punctual attendance; may work nights weekends variable schedules or additional hours as needed

• 12 years of relevant experience
• Experience with TIG welding and knowledge of welding techniques
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and weld prints
• Assembly skills and experience on production lines
• Strong basic math skills and the ability to recognize and solve typical work-area problems
• Good communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training apprenticeship or equivalent experience

• Additional assembly experience specific to production line environments

$25.00 - $27.00/hour
