Production Tech 2

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

Production Tech 2 is responsible for the set-up calibration testing and troubleshooting of circuits components instruments and mechanical assemblies.

You Will Make an Impact By:

We are looking for an exceptional Production Technician 2 who can

• Performs testing and troubleshooting of assemblies and/or final systems
• May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
• May assist in the selection and setting up of specialized test equipment

Skills You Bring:

What will you bring to the team along with your curiosity is:

• Technical school training or relevant experience and a minimum of 12-18 months experience troubleshooting to component level
• 2-5 Years Assembly experience
• Soldering skills and mechanical aptitude
• Willing to work in a fast-paced high volume production environment and still have commitment to the quality of the product.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be highly motivated able to work independently and be able to work in a team environment
• Familiar with PC programs (spreadsheets databases windows etc.).
• Performs other duties as required
• Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Oracle and Lean manufacturing preferred
• Highly motivated and able to function in a team-oriented manufacturing environment

• Reporting Relationships

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Perform activities such as sitting standing or typing for extended periods of time
• Occasionally moves/positions object up to 20 pounds
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for 30% of the time
• Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
• Must be able to exchange accurate information
• The ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)

Pay Range:

Total Base Pay Range $18.89 - 31.49 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position based on a wide range of factors including qualifications experience and training operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in an amount to be determined by MKS or as applicable.
