Weve partnered with a precision manufacturing company on the west side of Rochester NY seeking an experienced CNC Production Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 20 employees and help drive production excellence.
- Strong hands-on experience with CNC setup operation and machining processes across mills lathes and turning equipment.
- Previous experience leading coaching and managing direct reports.
- The ability to balance hands-on technical expertise with production leadership and team development.
- A passion for precision machining troubleshooting quality and continuous improvement.
Ability to edit existing CNC programs and experience with Mastercam.

- Responsible for leading day-to-day machining operations to meet production demands achieve quality standards and customer delivery timelines.
- Coordinate daily priorities employee scheduling performance reviews corrective actions support executio and ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Train and mentor CNC Setup Operators across milling lathe and turn setup operation programming and troubleshooting to reduce downtime and production efficiencies are being met.
- Accountability for production output quality and on-time delivery standards within the machine ship while supporting team development and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead execution of production schedules adequate materials to complete customer work orders and meet quality and delivery expectations.
- Establish priorities allocate resources and manage workflow based on production and business needs.
- Provide technical leadership across machining operations setup and process optimization ensuring machining activities meet specifications tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Determine tooling materials and machining methods to support production requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives production flow quality standards manufacturing processes to increase production efficiency.
- At least 4 years of experience in CNC Machining CNC and manual machining CNC Setup Operation and Programming (mills/lathes/turn) equipment in precision metal manufacturing environments required.
- 3 years of leadership experience CNC Machinists machine shop and/or CNC Setup Operators in precision manufacturing environments required.
- Must be proficient with; CAD/CAM Mastercam 3D Modeling software editing existing CNC programs ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working in tight tolerance environments able to read and interpret engineering blueprints process documentation GD&T and technical drawings.
- Skilled with precision measuring tools such as calipers micrometers height gauges bore gauges and inspection tools required.
- Proficient in problem-solving able to identify troubleshoot and resolve machining and manufacturing process issues effectively.
- Able to lead prioritize work schedules production schedules and maange direct reports holding them accountable to quality standards safety and performance.

Work Setting & Environment:
This is an on-site position and requires the Supervisor/Manager to be on the shop floor supporting production operations. commute to the office daily in Spencerport NY. The role may require wearing site-required personal protective equipment and occasionally moving between workstations and production equipment. Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation: The good-faith base pay range for this position is $25.00/hr. to $40.00/ Spencerport NY. Actual pay will be determined based on job-related experience qualifications skills internal equity and applicable law. Other compensation potential: bonus incentive overtime or other compensation offered.

Required Education:
