Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise front-line manufacturing employees including managing hourly production staff to achieve safety quality delivery and productivity objectives.
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure output targets are met in alignment with assembly schedules and customer requirements.
- Provide coaching mentoring training and performance management to production team members while fostering a culture of accountability teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all electronic assemblies meet IPC standards customer specifications and company quality requirements; support troubleshooting and resolution of manufacturing issues.
- Identify process bottlenecks and drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency increase yield and reduce waste.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controls cleanroom procedures and all company safety policies.
- Monitor equipment performance material flow and staffing levels to optimize operational efficiency and labor utilization.
- Maintain accurate production records track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular operational updates to manufacturing leadership.
- Apply technical knowledge and sound judgment to resolve production challenges within established procedures escalating complex issues as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Engineering Supply Chain and Operations teams to support business objectives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop a strong understanding of key business drivers and how team performance contributes to overall operational success.
- Communicate technical information effectively to employees leadership customers and other stakeholders while building strong working relationships across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Ability to work 1st Shift (7am-4pm) with occasional Saturday work required
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience
- 3 years of supervisory experience in electronics PCB assembly or high-precision manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of SMT and Through-Hole PCB assembly processes; IPC-A-610 certification preferred
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies including 5S Kaizen and Six Sigma
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
