GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead front-line manufacturing operations within our electronics assembly environment. This role is responsible for supervising hourly production employees including radio assembly technicians and SMT operators overseeing daily production schedules and ensuring safety quality and delivery objectives are met. The Production Supervisor will drive operational excellence by fostering a culture of accountability teamwork and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with quality standards and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills technical manufacturing expertise and a commitment to maintaining a safe efficient and high-quality production environment.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise front-line manufacturing employees including managing hourly production staff to achieve safety quality delivery and productivity objectives.
  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure output targets are met in alignment with assembly schedules and customer requirements.
  • Provide coaching mentoring training and performance management to production team members while fostering a culture of accountability teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all electronic assemblies meet IPC standards customer specifications and company quality requirements; support troubleshooting and resolution of manufacturing issues.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency increase yield and reduce waste.
  • Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controls cleanroom procedures and all company safety policies.
  • Monitor equipment performance material flow and staffing levels to optimize operational efficiency and labor utilization.
  • Maintain accurate production records track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular operational updates to manufacturing leadership.
  • Apply technical knowledge and sound judgment to resolve production challenges within established procedures escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Engineering Supply Chain and Operations teams to support business objectives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Develop a strong understanding of key business drivers and how team performance contributes to overall operational success.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to employees leadership customers and other stakeholders while building strong working relationships across the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Ability to work 1st Shift (7am-4pm) with occasional Saturday work required
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience
  • 3 years of supervisory experience in electronics PCB assembly or high-precision manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of SMT and Through-Hole PCB assembly processes; IPC-A-610 certification preferred
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies including 5S Kaizen and Six Sigma
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation
  • Strong problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $76300.00 and $114400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
