Production Supervisor (Nights)

Brief Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to ensure safety quality delivery and productivity targets are achieved.
• Supervise coach and develop production employees to drive performance accoutability and employee engagement.
• Monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including safety productivity quality schedule attainment etc.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency reduce waste and improve operational performance.
• Coordinate with Production Management Planning Engineering Quality Maintenance and Warehousing to meet production schedule and customer requirements.
• Communicate production priorities performance expectations and business objectives to employees in a clear and consistent manner.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies safety procedures and quality standards.
• Conduct performance discussions attendance reviews corrective actions and employee coaching sessions in partnership with Human Resources.
• Support workforce planning activities including training onboarding scheduling and cross-training of employees
• Promote a positive work environment that values safety teamwork accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Required/ Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 Years of leadership experience in a manufacturing production or similar environment.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and production performance metrics
• Strong communication problem solving and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and production reporting systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree in relevant field.
• Experience in a high volume or high growth manufacturing environment.
• Lean Manufacturing Continuous Improvement Six Sigma or similar operations excellence experience.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to work in the a manufacturing environment including exposure to machinery noise varying temperatures and production activities.
• Ability to wear required PPE including safety shoes safety glasses hearing protection and other equipment as needed.
• Ability to sit stand and/or walk for extended period of time and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
