Production Supervisor McCook, IL 71K-80K

Location: McCook IL (On-site full-time)

Compensation: $71000-$80000 base salary plus benefits (medical dental vision short-term disability PTO AFLAC and 401k with company match)

Employment: Full-time permanent (direct hire)

A well-established manufacturer of engineered specialty products is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead its Weld Department (MIG TIG and robotic welding) and keep daily production running strong.

What Youll Own

- Supervise daily production with primary responsibility for weld operations

- Ensure schedules are met across welding booths robotic cells and downstream processes

- Balance labor and workflow to eliminate bottlenecks and maintain throughput

- Track and report daily KPIs (output efficiency rework on-time delivery)

- Lead coach and develop welders and operators including hiring onboarding and reviews

- Enforce OSHA and welding safety practices and support weld quality and first-article inspection

- Drive Lean 5S and continuous improvement

What Youll Bring

- 5 years of manufacturing experience with significant exposure to welding operations

- 2 years of supervisory experience in a production environment

- Strong working knowledge of MIG TIG and robotic welding processes

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols

- High school diploma or GED

Nice to Have

- Technical or trade school education

- High-mix or high-volume manufacturing experience

- Knowledge of WPS/PQR documentation and AWS/ASME/ISO codes

- Familiarity with ERP systems and production reporting tools
