Leads and manages site plant production to meet internal and external customers requirements and to support HAM business strategies operating initiatives and financial objectives.
Responsible for maintaining compliance with the Huber Sustainability Management Standard requirements within their sphere of influence. This may or may not include compliance with any air permits wastewater permits storm water permits or other rules as presented to the employee as requirements.
- Supervise and develop production personnel through coaching training performance management and career development activities. Address employee concerns and performance issues provide timely feedback and foster a culture aligned with Hubers Vision Principles and operational goals.
- Support EHS&S systems and environmental compliance programs by ensuring production activities and required logs/reports align with EPA IEPA MSHA and site HESS & HSMS requirements.
- Lead communication and scheduling of production team members based on schedules provided by the Logistics Manager.
- Ensure production schedules support operational requirements proactively adjusting personnel for changing priorities and identifying delivery risks while collaborating with plant leadership and key stakeholders to implement mitigation plans and maintain customer commitments.
- Analyze and communicate production performance data reports and findings to leadership and plant teams to support informed decision-making reduce bottlenecks and improve operational efficiency.
- Support maintenance teams in efforts to maintain and repair equipment that encourages minimum downtime including effectiveness of preventative and predictive maintenance efforts and work with the team to implement improvements. Ensure proper use of Prometheus for work order entry and OS Pi for downtime event coding.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on operational and strategic initiatives driving process improvements supporting project execution and ensuring alignment across site functions.
- Support the investigation resolution and documentation of customer complaints by identifying root causes coordinating corrective actions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the site Buyer to ensure material availability communicate shortages and purchasing issues and communicate any possible discrepancies in BOMs.
- Support new product development and increases to new product production to support growth of the business.
- Ensure all processes and procedures comply with ISO requirements.
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with regulators and customer auditors.
- Ensure that the appropriate productivity and cost metrics are in place. (i.e. asset utilization OEE capacity throughput cycle time changeover time energy consumption yield quality etc.)
- Utilize Lean and continuous improvement tools and methodologies to drive productivity eliminate waste improve operational performance and lead Kaizen events as needed.
- Identify potential process or capital improvements that would increase efficiencies related to productivity quality cost performance delivery and capacity.
- Support continuous 24/7 plant operations by maintaining a flexible schedule and responding to operational issues outside of standard business hours as needed.
- Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
- Industry experience including Operations Productivity and Asset Utilization required.
- B.S. Degree in a technical discipline preferredChemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies including root cause analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to identifying and solving production issues.
- Must be able to acquire complete knowledge of production process and production capabilities with thorough knowledge of equipment.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and communication skills to be able to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization.

In addition to base compensation individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
