Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor 2nd Shift
Location: Bedford OH

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise train and support production employees assigning tasks based on individual skills staffing needs and production requirements.
• Develop and coordinate production schedules to meet daily goals customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and address quality concerns promptly.
• Enforce company safety policies conduct routine safety inspections and ensure employees follow established procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance personnel to address machinery issues and minimize downtime.
• Track production metrics evaluate performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Troubleshoot production challenges determine root causes and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor raw material and supply inventory coordinating with purchasing and other departments to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Collaborate with Quality Control Maintenance Production Planning and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely order completion.
• Prepare production reports and communicate key performance metrics issues and improvement opportunities to management.
• Promote teamwork accountability and continuous improvement throughout the production team.

• Previous manufacturing or production supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Associate degree preferred or a minimum of five years of equivalent relevant work experience.
• Strong leadership and employee supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
• Experience with production planning scheduling and meeting daily manufacturing goals.
• Ability to make sound decisions manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Basic computer skills including data entry production tracking and reporting.
• Commitment to workplace safety product quality and continuous improvement.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a preemployment screening
