Become a Key Player as a Production Supervisor

You will lead day-to-day production operations to meet customer and organizational requirements supervising and developing a manufacturing team and driving process stability and continuous improvement. You will work onsite on a swing shift (10-hour shifts MondayThursday) and partner with engineering HR and cross-functional stakeholders to launch product meet capacity plans and improve quality and safety.

Heres How Youll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Supervise and direct work activity of team members in the assigned production area
  • Train mentor coach and develop team members including creating and executing individual development plans
  • Delegate work assignments conduct performance appraisals and administer disciplinary procedures
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead Lean/Kaizen events to reduce waste and costs
  • Develop and deploy standardized work instructions and ensure process stability
  • Perform root cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions for quality issues
  • Perform capacity analysis determine staffing requirements and troubleshoot scheduling/material issues
  • Promote and enforce safety policies; conduct safety investigations and audits
  • Coordinate new product launches with Engineering and communicate with customers as needed
Heres What Youll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • Bachelors degree in Business Industrial Manufacturing Mechanical or Materials Process Engineering
  • 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with Kaizen and Lean principles
  • Ability to assess department health through data correlation and direct observation
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement systemic improvement plans
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose alternatives beyond historical practice
  • Knowledge of multiple leadership approaches and ability to apply them to develop individuals and teams
  • Proficient computer skills and strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
Pay Range

$87050 - $145250/year
