Production Supervisor 3rd Shift

Reporting to the Business Unit Leader you will lead plant operations and process improvement efforts by guiding teams to achieve production quality safety and cost targets. You will identify and resolve production constraints ensure resources are aligned to daily plans and foster an engaged team oriented workforce that drives continuous improvement and business results.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Lead team members to execute daily production plans that meet quality productivity and cost standards
• Identify operational issues or bottlenecks and lead structured team based problem solving efforts to resolve them
• Monitor production performance to ensure established standards are maintained
• Support employee development through training coaching and performance feedback
• Support oversight of sanitation and operations activities to maintain a clean food safe manufacturing environment
• Ensure adherence to plant rules regulations policies and procedures
• Promote and support plant and company safety programs and compliance with defined safety requirements
• Participate in development of daily plans and delivery of daily line performance
• Drive execution and sustainment of standard work to achieve daily direction setting results
• Lead shift handoff meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment between shifts

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
• 3-5 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is a plus
• Demonstrated leadership communication and organizational skills

When visiting these sites the physical requirements below may apply: You may be required to walk around the facility climb stairs/ladders kneel or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large moving equipment. Noise levels can be high and temperatures may vary.

Compensation

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employees actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal Conagra employees Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
