What You Will Contribute:
The Production Supervisor leads hourly manufacturing employees and oversees daily production operations to ensure safety quality productivity and delivery goals are achieved. This role provides hands-on leadership coaching and support while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing departments.
- Supervise and coach hourly manufacturing employees to maximize productivity quality and safety.
- Communicate production goals expectations and operational updates to employees and leadership.
- Monitor daily operations staffing equipment utilization and workflow to ensure production schedules are met.
- Analyze operational metrics and implement solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
- Utilize manufacturing systems for production scheduling materials management and reporting.
- Identify and resolve production issues involving materials equipment quality and processes.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations company policies and labor agreements.
- Conduct performance evaluations manage attendance and support employee development and training.
- Promote a safe organized and team-oriented work environment.
- Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Operations or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of manufacturing or operations experience.
- Previous supervisory lead or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving decision-making and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with MSDS/SDS requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills preferred.
