Production Supervisor 2nd shift

Position Description

• Oversee the production process for multiple lines or shifts ensuring operational goals are met.
• Supervise production teams by providing direction coaching and performance feedback to Leads and team members.
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization cost reduction and waste minimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments (e.g. engineering quality supply chain) to support production goals.
• Monitor analyze and report production metrics identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans for safety quality and production issues.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA environmental and company-specific regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for management during production escalations or emergencies.
• Perform specific tasks as required for the production line.
• Follow all safety policies protocols and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of production equipment processes and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency in production scheduling systems ERP software and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime extended hours and some weekends as needed.
• Understanding and ability to adhere to OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Ability to adapt to and excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have the ability to hear and see clearly.
• Willingness to assist in other areas as needed.
