The Production Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the daily oversight of press room operations ensuring efficient production quality standards and a safe working environment. This role works closely with the General Manager and leads press room personnel to maintain productivity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day press room operations
Lead support and manage press room operators
Train employees to become self-sufficient and highly proficient in their roles
Troubleshoot and resolve press tooling and production issues
Monitor workflow to ensure production goals and deadlines are met
Maintain accurate records of jobs run production output and performance
Promote and enforce safety procedures and company policies
Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding production status and issues
Qualifications
24 years of manufacturing experience (press room or similar environment preferred)
24 years of supervisory or leadership experience
High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical training is a plus)
Skills & Competencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven leadership and team management abilities
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities
Effective time management and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
