Summary:
The Production Specialist - Operations will be based in Memphis TN reporting to Operations Manager is responsible for supporting daily production operations by assisting Supervisors in managing assembly activities monitoring operational performance maintaining workforce readiness driving KPI achievement reducing scrap and supporting training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Schedule - 6:00am-3:00pm ; Mon - Fri
Principal Accountabilities
Support Supervisors in daily production execution and operational activities.
Know and support all assembly workstations and production processes.
Monitor production KPIs including productivity efficiency output quality and schedule attainment.
Track scrap performance and support corrective actions to reduce waste.
Support line balancing and productivity improvement initiatives.
Assist with workforce performance monitoring and skill progression.
Coordinate and support operator training and certification activities.
Serve as a support resource for operators regarding processes and work instructions.
Maintain KPI dashboards production reports and operational summaries
Education / Experience
High School Diploma required.
2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Electronics manufacturing or server assembly experience is highly desirable
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze production data and performance trends.
Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs scrap control and productivity metrics.
Knowledge of electronics assembly processes preferred.
Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement knowledge preferred.
Scope / Impact
Supports production performance productivity quality scrap reduction and workforce development across assigned manufacturing areas.
Supervision / Leadership
No direct reports. Acts as operational support to Production Supervisors and assists with training coaching and onboarding activities when required.
