Production Planner – Electronics Manufacturing

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain / Production Planner to support manufacturing operations in the electronics industry. In this role you will develop production schedules manage inventory coordinate material availability and optimize planning processes to ensure on-time customer deliveries while maintaining efficient inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly and monthly production schedules based on customer demand and forecasts.
• Plan material requirements and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address changing priorities equipment downtime or supply constraints.
• Manage inventory levels to minimize excess stock while preventing shortages.
• Release and track manufacturing orders using ERP/MRP systems.
• Maintain accurate production inventory and planning data.
• Analyze planning metrics and recommend process improvements to improve efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with production purchasing logistics and customer service teams to support operational goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 35 years of production planning supply chain planning or manufacturing planning experience.
• Previous experience in the electronics manufacturing industry is required.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (such as SAP or Oracle).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; SQL experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States. Employer sponsorship is not available.
