Position Overview


Help keep Americas next generation of rail vehicles moving.

As a Production Material Handler I youll play a critical role in supporting the manufacturing of advanced rail vehicles by ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time. Working closely with production planning and supply chain teams youll help maintain material flow support inventory accuracy coordinate shipments and keep manufacturing operations running efficiently.

What you will do:

Ensure production teams have the materials components and inventory needed to meet manufacturing schedules
Pick kit stage and distribute materials to support locomotive and rail vehicle production
Receive inspect label and stock incoming materials while maintaining inventory accuracy
Coordinate outbound shipments customer orders and production-related logistics activities
Operate forklifts pallet jacks and material handling equipment to move materials safely and efficiently
Support inventory control activities cycle counts SAP transactions and inventory reconciliation
Work closely with Production Planners Quality and Supply Chain teams to resolve material shortages and maintain material readiness
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
What makes you successful:

Experience working in a manufacturing warehouse logistics or material handling environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
Experience with inventory management material movement receiving or shipping processes
Comfortable using SAP MRP ERP or inventory management systems
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Forklift experience is a plus
