Production Manager, Amazon MGM Studios, US Scripted Series Production and Post Production

We are hiring a Production Manager to support the US Scripted Production team. The Production Manager is responsible for a high volume of tasks including single-threaded management of series calendar management organization of production documents and production data tracking. They will work with both external and internal partners to oversee projects from pitch to greenlight through production and bring them to fruition on time and on budget. An enthusiastic team-oriented approach is essential; the position requires the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at the studio and show level. There is an enormous growth opportunity for those passionate about physical production and becoming production executives.


Key job responsibilities
You oversee multiple scripted projects in development and production with guidance.
You meet with show producers production managers and creative executives in budget and production meetings.
You work with partner teams and production companies on production safety security insurance labor immigration visa travel and tax issues.
You are on-set when necessary to evaluate work-flow budgets and potential problems both domestically and abroad (as needed).
You analyze budgets and cost reports working closely with production finance to ensure delivery of all required assets.
You may lead project kick-off meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
You manage projects with other internal departments such as creative marketing press business affairs legal finance and tax.
You have experience with industry unions and guilds both domestically and internationally


- 3 years of budgeting scheduling and cost reporting experience
- 3 years of producer production manager or line producer experience
- 3 years of overseeing and managing projects and deadlines experience

- Experience with a variety of digital media workflows and post production

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
