  • Lead and manage the team fostering a culture of safety quality and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the Production process including scheduling workflow optimization and resource allocation to meet production targets.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous inspection and testing procedures.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Monitor and control production costs identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production performance including key metrics and KPIs to senior management.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Drive the strategic plan by leading the ongoing implementation of lean manufacturing best practice utilizing experience with lean methodologies and tools.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering Industrial Technology or related technical degree
  • 5 Years of progressive leadership & learning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Servant leadership mindset with experience building and developing teams in the manufacturing sector.
  • A collaborative spirit that inspires and engages teams to achieve excellence.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and SAP/ERP systems.

Your challenge!
Reporting to the Plant Manager the Production Managers mission is to achieve the manufacturing objectives associated with his or her units business strategy by optimizing available resources rigorously applying business processes and establishing an effective communication system. You therefore participate in the implementation of processes practices and tools specific to your unit aimed at optimizing operational efficiency. You also build a mobilized and competent team and support their production efforts while nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and health and safety. As a result you contribute to the achievement of your units strategic plan by positively influencing the adoption of healthy and safe behaviours operating costs performance and production capacity and quality.

Extensive supervisory experience in the manufacturing sector
