Production Maintenance Assistant

Staff Management Group is seeking a Production Maintenance Assistant for our client in Wayne NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 5AM - 2:30PM
• Plus overtime

Pay Rate:

• $18 / hour

Job Summary:

The Production Maintenance Assistant helps the maintenance team with basic equipmentupkeep and general shop duties. This is an entry-level position for someone who isdependable enjoys hands-on work and is willing to learn.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic maintenance tasks and equipment repairs.
• Help keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
• Report equipment issues to the maintenance team.
• Follow company safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish.
• Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus but not required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around machinery.
