Production Machine Operator

Job Summary
The schedule and pay:
- $29.68/hr: $24.68 base plus a $5/hr night shift premium
- MondayThursday 6:00pm6:00am so every weekend is a 3-day weekend
- Paid weekly
Position:
Were looking for hands-on mechanically minded operators who enjoy working with equipment solving problems and being part of a team that takes pride in what they produce.
- Run automated production equipment and hit daily production goals
- Set up equipment and handle preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot adjust and make minor repairs using hand tools and measuring devices and bring in Maintenance when needed to keep the line moving
- Take apart and reassemble heavy components using hoists and hand tools
- Check product quality including color blends and flag anything thats off
- Keep accurate daily production and maintenance reports
- Hand off clearly at shift change so the next crew knows exactly where things stand
- Work safely and follow plant procedures
Qualifications :
What you need
- 3 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Comfort leading or guiding coworkers on the floor
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Availability for occasional overtime or weekend coverage when production requires it
- High school diploma or GED
Bonus points (not required)
- Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience in concrete or concrete products manufacturing
- Familiarity with equipment like Masa Hess Omag Columbia Rekers or Besser
- Experience with ERP systems or Microsoft Office

Employee must be able to identify color blends variances non-conforming color blends with up to three different colors on each product. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain stationary or move throughout the workstations; also includes the ability to ascend and descend steps and ladders; and position self in tight spaces. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms talk or hear.
