Job Description

Silvercote a Service Partners company manufactures high quality metal building insulation products customized to project specifications. Our business is made to order and working in a collaborative fast-paced environment is essential in order to meet customer needs. Across our North American network of branch locations our sales production warehouse and customer support teams provide top notch service and deliver the best products to our customers.

Your Responsibilities

Within our Silvercote business a Production Lead is responsible for movement of production materials and finished insulation products. This position assists the insulation lamination machine operator with lamination production quality control and safety to ensure products produced meet and/or exceed the standards of the customers order. This role is vital to the success of our business as you ensure that our customers orders are correct and undamaged.

  • Properly unwrap rolls of insulation and load them on the lamination machine.

  • Perform quality inspections by examining all products to verify conformance to company standards.

  • Move freight stock or other materials to and from storage or production areas loading docks and delivery vehicles using hand trucks forklifts or clamps.

  • Properly unload and bag finished product rolls off the lamination machine.

  • Accurately count finished product to determine completion of production order.

  • Perform general house-keeping responsibilities to ensure a clean and safe work environment.

  • Any other duty task or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 years of age.

  • If operating a Company Vehicle a valid drivers license will be required.

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing work environment.

  • Prior forklift experience (preferred).

  • Proven track record of good attendance and being on time according to work schedule.

Education

  • High school diploma or GED is required.

Physical Requirements

Frequent bending stooping pushing pulling and lifting up 50 lbs. unassisted to load and unload various products. Climb stoop kneel crawl and stand to perform daily work and ladder climbing as needed.

Compensation Range

$13.00 - $30.00
