THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER - TITLE 32 Position Description Number PDD1255000 and is part of the KY FMS 5 National Guard.


Duties

As a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER - TITLE 32 GSyou will establish plans and schedules for maintenance and repair using multiple process production methods and procedures for a variety of vehicles and equipment. Implement maintenance plans and monitor progress of accomplishments. Provide status of equipment maintenance actions in progress and location of equipment. Input work order information status changes supply updates and other pertinent information. Ensure reportable Line Item Numbers (LIN) are properly managed reported and accounted for. Program workload shop space and available personnel. Ensure Class 9 (CL IX) accounts are funded budgeted and executed to maximize readiness. Designate and maintain maintenance priorities. Monitor work priorities and status/completion of work orders. Assist supervisory personnel regarding readiness CL IX funding production problems and work planning. Analyze repair methods and develops control procedures and policies to assure accomplishment of programs to meet priorities and deadlines. Coordinate with units and other support activities concerning the delivery status of repair operations and/or pick up of completed work orders. Perform other duties as assigned.

    RANK REQUIREMENT:
    Member must provide in writing with their application package that they are willing to accept a reduction in rank in order to be qualified for this position if applicable. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
    You must maintain membership in the Kentucky National Guard.
    You must be assigned to a compatible military position.
    Wear of the military uniform.
    Position may require a pre-employment physical.
    May be subject to furlough actions.
    May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
    Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
    Must obtain a favorable adjudication of a T3 or equivalent investigation.
    Acceptance of a Federal position may terminate a military bonus.
    Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility.
    This position is located on a tobacco free facility.
    This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
    Experience with planning estimating scheduling and expediting the use of manpower machines and materials pertaining to repair operations.

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
    Must have at least 24 months experience preparing job or work orders. Experience scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility and following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials machine processes and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data provide status of equipment and monitor job order status monitor work priorities requisition repair parts track repair parts status etc.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    Resume must have complete dates work schedule and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment. (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only and unspecified work schedule will result in disqualification.
