Production Associate Group Leader

Job Summary
Our Phoenix team supports the manufacturing and operational processes behind ultrasound imaging technologies used by providers worldwide. Its hands-on work connected to the quality and reliability those technologies are built to deliver.
Essential Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the daily work activities of a defined group of employees.
- Assist in planning scheduling and prioritizing work to meet production quality safety and delivery objectives.
- Provide instruction and training to employees and ensure training records are properly documented.
- Monitor production activities and communicate performance shortages quality concerns and operational issues to leadership.
- Troubleshoot and assist in resolving production material equipment and process-related issues.
- Support the implementation of new products processes equipment and manufacturing methods.
- Serve as a technical resource for team members and help establish best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements standard work quality procedures and company policies.
- Perform production rework indirect labor and support activities as required to maintain operational efficiency.
- Accurately perform transactions within company computer systems and maintain required records.
- Support inventory management activities including receiving storage issuing verification and movement of materials.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure work areas stockrooms and supermarkets are organized and orderly.
- Communicate operational changes and production priorities to team members across shifts.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend solutions to improve safety quality delivery and productivity.
- Collaborate with Engineering Quality Materials and Operations teams to support operational objectives.
- Interface effectively with coworkers suppliers transportation providers and internal customers.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum two (2) years of manufacturing production logistics or related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to read write and understand oral and written instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to perform mathematical calculations including multiplication division fractions and decimals.
- Demonstrated ability to use hand tools power tools measuring devices and inspection equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately use precision measurement tools such as calipers micrometers height gauges and dial indicators.
- Demonstrated ability to perform transactions within company computer systems.
- Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles and maintain required operator certifications where applicable.
- Ability to lift push pull and carry materials as required by the job.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring standing bending repetitive motion and material handling.
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes production workflows and quality requirements.
