The Blending team is responsible for checking in materials setting up equipment and accurately weighing and mixing ingredients.


The Role & Your Impact

As a Production Associate in Blending you will be a key contributor to daily production operations. Your work ensures that products are manufactured safely accurately and in compliance with quality GMP and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up operating adjusting cleaning and sanitizing blending equipment according to procedures
  • Accurately weighing and mixing raw materials based on batch recipes and formulations
  • Printing applying and verifying product labels lot numbers and batch records
  • Performing basic and preventative maintenance (PM) and identifying equipment issues
  • Taking samples for Quality Control testing as required
  • Maintaining accurate production records equipment logs and inventory documentation
  • Assisting in SOP development and continuous improvement activities using Lean principles
  • Supporting other operators as needed to meet production demands
  • Following all safety protocols GMP requirements and standardized work procedures
  • Adhering to Kosher and Halal dietary law certification guidelines
  • Properly using PPE including Powered Air-Purifying Respirators (PAPR) and maintaining required certifications

What Youll Need to Be Successful

To perform this role safely and effectively youll need:

  • Ability to read write and speak English
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Ability to apply basic math skills including metric weight and volume conversions
  • Ability to read and follow production journals and batch documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Basic computer skills; ERP system experience (SAP) is preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers regarding production status
  • Ability to use basic hand tools for equipment assembly and disassembly

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

While not required the following are a plus:

  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated or food production environment
  • Forklift or pallet walker experience
  • Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement concepts
  • Strong reliability and attendance record
  • Interest in learning new processes and expanding technical skills

Ways of Working / Working Conditions
  • Shift: 2nd shift
  • Hours: MondayThursday 2:30PM 12:30 AM
  • Work location: Wausau WI (On-site)
  • Physical demands: Frequent movement and lifting of materials ranging from 1 kg up to 50 kg
  • Work environment: Manufacturing setting with equipment noise and airborne materials
  • Team-based work: All blending operations are performed by two people working together
  • Safety requirements: Use of PPE and PAPR in designated environments; adherence to all safety health and environmental regulations

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly rate: $19.00 per hour plus shift premium
