Production Assistant (1st & 2nd Shift)

We have a total of three positions available with one opening for each of the 1st 2nd and 3rd shifts.

• Pay:Based off experience starting at $20.08/hour and Shift Premium (2nd & 3rd shift only)

Current Shift Schedule (2026)

This schedule outlines the standard shifts from Monday to Friday:

• 1st Shift(Day): 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift (Afternoon): 2:30 PM 11:00 PM

Shift preferences will be discussed during the screening process

Future Shift Schedule (2027):

Transition to a 12-hour night or day shift schedule (Further details will be provided)

Description of Role:

The Production Assistant is responsible for operating machines equipment and processes within their designated area of the manufacturing plant ensuring both successful performance and safety.

What are we looking for

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma GED or equivalent education
• Mechanically inclined
• Proficient in software including MS Office (Word Excel) and email.

Physical Requirements:

• Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
• Frequent bending stooping twisting handling and gripping.
• Ability to work at elevated heights climb stairs lean over equipment and operate in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods with shifts lasting 12 hours
• Capable of working in hot cold and wet conditions
• Proficient in understanding communicating reading and writing in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical degree or certifications
• 1 years of hand on experience in the manufacturing industry
• Mechanical or technical training
• Forklift driving experience

What will be your Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for the performance of multiple machines processes and pieces of equipment.
• Perform routine operational tasks including starting up shutting down monitoring cleaning basic changeovers repairs routine checks and inspections.
• Utilize basic ancillary equipment and computer programs
• Escalate issues appropriately and repair mechanical breakdowns
• Handle ad hoc requests as needed
