Production Assembler – Component Preparation and Pallet Building

Become a vital part of our production team in Reno NV as a Production Assembler where your role will directly support the manufacturing and shipping process through hands-on assembly and pallet construction.

As a Production Assembler you will prepare components assemble parts and build wooden pallets and crates to support product shipment. This role requires adherence to safety standards attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions. You will work collaboratively to paint finish insulate products and maintain a safe and organized work area under a covered awning shift schedule.

• LOCATION: Reno NV 89506
• POSITION: Contract to Hire
• HOURS: 6:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 6:00am to 10:00am
• PAYRATE: $19.00 hour

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instructions blueprints or diagrams to assemble components or products.
• Build wooden pallets and crates according to specifications.
• Use hand tools power tools cranes and other equipment to perform assembly tasks.
• Measure cut grind and assemble materials with precision and efficiency.
• Inspect and verify the quality of assembled products to ensure they meet specified standards.
• Identify and report any defects or issues with components or finished products.
• Maintain a clean organized safe work area and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Report material shortages equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
• Assist in other production areas as necessary.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screen including THC.
• Able to work shift outside under a covered awning.
• Able to use hand tools.
• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints diagrams or assembly instructions.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
• Works with a positive attitude and is a team player.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools including wood cutting saws.
• Able to learn how to operate basic machinery (ex. Waterjet).
• Able to paint and work with insulation.
• Ability to work independently with direct supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing warehouse or construction experience preferred.

Work Environment

• Work shift outside under a covered awning.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs.
