This role plays an important part in improving plant operations supporting product innovation and maintaining product quality is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in manufacturing quality product development laboratory testing or continuous Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform testing and analysis on Hoffmaster products and materials following established proceduresCollect raw material and finished product samples safely and accuratelyRecord and communicate test results in a timely mannerAssist with complaint investigations and troubleshooting effortsCompile reports and provide suggestions for product improvementsLearn and perform non-routine testing methodsSupport development of new testing methods and innovation initiativesDocument machine settings environmental conditions and raw material informationWork closely with Engineering Operations Quality and Product Development teamsAssist with site trials and testing projectsMaintain inventory and ordering of testing suppliesTrain and support backup lab personnel as neededFollow all GMP safety and SQF requirementsMaintain a clean organized and positive work environmentQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required2 years of manufacturing experience preferredQuality lab experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic math and computer skills requiredExperience with Microsoft Office Excel Smartsheet or SharePoint preferredAbility to read and understand procedures specifications and safety instructionsStrong communication skillsAbility to identify and report product quality issuesPhysical & PPE RequirementsRequired PPE includes:Safety glassesHearing protectionSteel-toed shoesGlovesAdditional InformationOccasional travel to other Hoffmaster locations may be requiredTraining providedMust be able to work safely and effectively in a manufacturing environmentIf you have questions about the position please contact Kevin Yancey at or Gabby Klas #CreativeConverting255#ClintonvilleJobs255
