Product Owner

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive the vision strategy and delivery of enterprise applications built on the OutSystems platform. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams ensuring that product priorities align with organizational goals and that high-value features are delivered efficiently through Agile methodologies.

Scope of Work & Key Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the product vision roadmap strategy and priorities.
• Own and manage the product backlog ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Create prioritize and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Serve as the primary decision-maker and point of contact for product-related discussions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders architects UX teams and developers to define requirements and deliver business value.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and OutSystems best practices.
• Lead sprint planning backlog grooming and requirement clarification sessions.
• Review completed work and accept or reject deliverables based on defined acceptance criteria.
• Monitor feature progress delivery timelines and overall product performance.
• Identify and manage dependencies risks and scope changes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements based on user feedback and business needs.
• Ensure adherence to governance compliance and organizational standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support Agile delivery teams in maintaining focus on business priorities and outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Business Information Technology Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 6 years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership roles.
• Strong experience working within Agile and Scrum environments.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale digital products and platforms.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including development UX/UI architecture and business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of backlog management user story creation prioritization frameworks and acceptance criteria definition.
• Ability to balance business objectives with technical constraints and delivery considerations.
• Strong decision-making analytical and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent communication facilitation and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with OutSystems or other low-code/no-code application platforms.
• Knowledge of enterprise applications APIs integrations and digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern application architectures.
• Understanding of DevOps practices CI/CD processes and Agile delivery metrics.
• Experience leading modernization or platform transformation programs.

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
• Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)
• Agile Product Management Certification
