Major Tasks Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesLeader responsible for Mine Excavator business performance in North AmericaOwn the overall strategy product roadmap and technical/feature specifications for new products based on long-term product vision user needs technical and market trends and platform capabilitiesPartnering with division and support teams to provide target product specifications and product features for completion of current and future product development of the product lineLead the development of compelling audience-specific messages and tools (videos customer success stories presentations demos how to guides etc.) to be used on the web events and in campaignsProvide on-going product support to product manager dealer and direct sales teamsGather comprehensive voice of customer analysis to support product development activitiesAssist in tracking and communicating competitor product activity and product trends to division and regional sales teamsMaintain competitive data files on pricing and market shareCreate and conduct sales training seminars and demonstrationsCoordinate with the Marketing Department to create marketing materialsAttend relevant shows and conventionsOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBA in Business B. Engineering or similar5 years sales product marketing engineering and/or customer support experience in the industry or similarMust pass any drug screens background checks and any pre-employment tests which will be conducted in accordance with applicable QualificationsHands on experience with Mini ExcavatorsStrong industry experience in construction landscaping or agricultureStrong industry experience with equipment dealershipsStrong industry experience in product development and operations environmentsKnowledge Skills Abilities & CompetenciesProficient in Microsoft Office softwareProficient in SAPComfortable in an in-person office environmentTechnical selling skills and ability to translate between costumer requirements and technical specifications and vice public speaking skills and ability to present to leadership teams customers and partners groups in a variety of be customer service oriented flexible and have a high energy levelMust have excellent follow-through skillsMust have a professional polished and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settingsMust be open to domestic and international travelDesire and proven ability to learn and growJob ConditionsBoth office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory to noise and temperature RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those required of an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
