Product Manager, Global Tax Data Customer & Delivery

Amazons Global Tax Data (GTD) team seeks a capable and motivated individual to be a Product Manager in the Global Tax Data team. The role is responsible for ensuring the tax professionals of Amazons Global Tax organization are supported in their mission by world-class technology and processes. The impact of their work is evidenced in improved efficiency in processing empowered customers and a Tax department that continues to meet the unique challenges of Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive execution of technology initiatives by working with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet the needs of tax professionals
- Shape user experiences by collaborating on front-end architecture decisions and ensuring our products are intuitive and effective
- Define product strategy and vision by developing roadmaps work-back plans and other artifacts that guide our teams efforts
- Partner with stakeholders including tax professionals product colleagues and solutions architects to gather insights validate assumptions and refine our approach
- Contribute to continuous improvements by participating in planning design implementation testing and process optimization as part of an integrated team

A day in the life
As a Product Manager on the Global Tax Data team youll focus on understanding the needs of tax professionals and translating those insights into compelling product strategies. You might start your day reviewing feedback from tax teams about current workflows then collaborate with engineers and solutions architects to refine the technical approach for a new feature. Youll participate in design reviews to shape user experiences that make complex tax processes more intuitive and youll work with cross-functional partners to prioritize what gets built next. Beyond regular product management duties youll contribute to thought leadership within the organization helping define best practices for how we approach product development in the tax technology space.

- 3 years of product management experience
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in product program or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services

- Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
