Product Manager- Forming & Dryer

The best product decisions hold up in the mill in manufacturing and in the market. AstenJohnson is looking for a Product Manager to guide its Forming and Dryer product lines support profitable growth and help bring new products from development through successful field connect customer and field needs with product design manufacturing sales and continuous improvement. Youll also train and coach field personnel on product applications and support youll doManage assigned Forming and Dryer product lines with a focus on growth profitability and market new and advanced product development projects and support successful product product performance with manufacturing considerations when making design and application and coach field personnel on product applications and provide guidance on sales opportunities and trial Alpha and Beta trials and help resolve field performance issues with the Continuous Improvement the product portfolio and help implement product rationalization to sales budgets manufacturing forecasts pricing discount programs and claim settlement corporate bids for alignment with product strategy and margin technical support to site operations and help maintain a consistent selling promotional programs and work with global marketing teams to promote consistent product applications across safe work practices and support ethical and environmentally responsible you bringA college degree in business engineering paper textiles or a related science (preferred).At least 10 years of experience in papermaking paper machine clothing or a related knowledge of Forming and Dryer fabric design applications and manufacturing including weaving heat-setting seaming and understanding of polymer chemistry and papermaking ability to explain technical products to field teams and support them through trials and customer commercial judgment and the ability to work across technical manufacturing sales and marketing teams.* Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
