What Youll Do as our Product Manager Consumer Products-Upstream
- Own and manage a defined consumer product portfolio including assortment profitability and lifecycle strategy.
- Work on product specifications testing making sure products are performing to specifications that you need.
- Analyze market trends customer insights and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead product launches portfolio expansions rationalizations and end-of-life activities.
- Develop product positioning value propositions and pricing strategies.
- Partner closely with Marketing Sales R&D Finance Supply Chain and Operations to achieve business objectives.
- Use your analytical skills to triangulate data. You will gather data from numerous sources connect the dots and build a whole picture.
- Support commercial teams with product knowledge tools and market insights.
- Monitor key business metrics including revenue margin market share and portfolio performance.
- Build business cases and present recommendations to senior leadership.
What Were Looking For: Product Manager Consumer Products-Upstream
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Engineering or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 4 years of experience in Product Management Portfolio Management or Category Management.
- Experience in Consumer Products Consumer Healthcare or FMCG preferred.
- Proven success leading portfolio extension product launches and geographic or channel expansions
- Strong analytical strategic thinking and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working within global or regional organizations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
