About the team

Klaviyo went public in 2023 and is scaling fast. This is a rare chance to make a difference in building Finance systems foundation for a company at this inflection point. The Finance Technology Systems team is part of G&A Systems within Global Technology Solutions (GTS). This group designs operates and continually improves the applications and workflows that power how Klaviyo manages money risk and financial reporting at scale.

The team partners closely with Finance Accounting Tax Treasury FP&A Procurement and Internal Audit as well as adjacent technology teams like Corporate IT Data and GTM Systems to ensure our backoffice stack is reliable wellintegrated compliant and ready for a public AIforward SaaS business. We own the roadmap health and governance of platforms including our ERP and financial systems (e.g. NetSuite/Oracle) procuretopay (e.g. Coupa) revenue and billing systems and related integrations and automation.

This role reports to the Senior Director G&A Systems and leads the team responsible for Finance Technology Solutions across Klaviyo.

What Youll Do

As the Product Lead Finance Systems you will be the accountable technology leader for Klaviyos Finance application landscape and core financial workflows. You will define and execute the multiyear vision for our Finance systems and partner with senior Finance and GTS leaders to deliver automation control and insight across our procuretopay recordtoreport and ordertocash processes.

Own the Finance systems vision and roadmap

• Define and maintain the multiyear strategy and roadmap for Klaviyos Finance technology stack ( procuretopay order-to-cash( revenue and billingtreasury) record-to-report( close and reconciliation) aligned to the CFOs agenda and the companys financial plan.
• Translate Finance - Accounting Tax and FP&A objectives into clear systems investments and sequencing balancing foundational platform work with highimpact automation and analytics use cases.

Deliver on the Roadmap

• Collaborate with application owners x-functional teams business systems analysts administrators and integration specialists in driving functional design and delivering the agreed upon roadmap
• Set clear expectations around timelines measurable business outcomes with Finance stakeholders

Drive AI-native transformation across Finance

• Lead Klaviyos push to make Finance one of the most automated insight-driven functions in the company. Youll identify and deliver high-value AI use cases across the Finance workflow.
• Youll partner directly with Klaviyos AI and data platform teams and Finance Engineering to embed AI into core Finance processes with clear guardrails measurable productivity gains and the rigor expected of a public company. This isnt a future-state vision its work already underway and youll own it from a Product standpoint.

Design and optimize core Finance processes and systems

• Have a product mindset and partner with Controllership FP&A Tax Treasury and Procurement leaders to improve and continuously refine endtoend Finance workflows across procuretopay recordtoreport and ordertocash ensuring systems and processes are tightly aligned.
• Ensure our ERP and Finance applications are configured integrated and operated to support accurate timely close scalable revenue and billing and highquality financial data that downstream teams can trust.

Act as a strategic partner and communicator

• Serve as the primary technology partner for the CFO Controller and Finance leadership team on systems data and process topics; translate business strategy into clear product technical decisions and tradeoffs.
• As needed represent Finance Technology Systems in executive forums planning cycles and crossfunctional initiatives ensuring Finance needs are anticipated and built into wider GTS and company roadmaps.

Who You Are

Youve spent your career at the intersection of Product Finance and Technology and youve moved beyond just keeping systems running. You think in product design roadmaps outcomes and partnerships. You know what a well-run Finance technology function looks like and you know how to build one.

Youve worked in or led teams through real complexity: ERP and other transformations SOX audits billing system overhauls or the messy work of integrating Finance systems across a growing company. You dont need a perfect environment to do great work you create structure where there isnt any and you bring Finance and engineering stakeholders along with you.

Specifically you likely bring:

• 10 years in enterprise or business systems with meaningful ownership of Finance technology at a tech or SaaS company
• 4 years in product design responsible for order-to cash record-to-report procure-to-pay revenue/billing and financial close systems
• Understanding of practical SOX ITGC experience and a clean track record working with Internal Audit and external auditors
• Solid understanding of enterprise-led growth and system features required to enable moving upmarket
• Fluency in ERP and Finance application architecture (NetSuite/Oracle Coupa Avalara Zip Zuora or similar) integration patterns and how Finance data flows across a modern tech stack
• Partnering with strong engineering team with AI build-first mentality
• Personally built or scaled AI and automation in Finance workflows - reconciliations invoice processing forecasting prep and can speak to what worked and what didnt
• A reputation as a trusted partner to engineering and finance leadership; someone who translates complexity into clear decisions and earns credibility with CFOs CAOs Controllers Revenue Operations and auditors alike
