If youre ready to build something that makes a difference be part of a team that protects what matters Youll Do: As a Product Development Engineer I youll help design develop and test innovative temperature-controlled packaging solutions that protect life-saving medications. Working alongside experienced engineers youll support new product development from concept through production using CAD design engineering analysis and laboratory testing to bring new products to new product development projects through the NPD stage-gate process completing assigned engineering deliverables and supporting design and modify 3D CAD models assemblies and 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks or equivalent Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/DFA) principles dimensional verification and tolerance analysis to improve product engineering calculations thermal and structural simulations and design experiments with guidance from senior test protocols conduct laboratory testing and analyze results to verify product performance and design and evaluate prototypes to support product development concept validation and research engineering reports validation documentation Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs).Support Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and verification and validation (V&V) with Engineering Manufacturing Quality and Sales teams to support product development and customer technical support for customer projects including occasional customer site new materials technologies competitor products and industry developments to support project progress technical challenges and potential risks while meeting assigned established quality safety and engineering standards while contributing to continuous improvement Were Looking ForBachelors degree in Engineering; no prior professional engineering experience a bachelors degree in a related technical field with at least 3 years of related engineering understanding of heat transfer principles including heat transfer and energy balance in SolidWorks or an equivalent CAD in Microsoft Word and analytical problem-solving and technical documentation attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering verbal written and presentation to manage multiple assignments prioritize tasks and meet working independently on assigned tasks and collaborating with cross-functional QualificationsExperience with thermal or structural simulation software such as Ansys SolidWorks Simulation or equivalent or co-op experience in product development packaging engineering or In It For You:Join a company that truly values its employees!
