The Procurement/Supply Chain Manager manages the procurement for this data center construction site. This position is responsible for working with vendors to ensure that our equipment construction supplies and any other necessities for this site are delivered on time at budgeted rate and in proper condition.

This role will serve as an MEP owners representative supporting data center new build project in Martindale TX. Strong supply chain experience is vital to the success in this role. Come join our team!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end supply chain procurement and logistics activities supporting data center construction projects.

  • Develop procurement strategies for critical equipment and long-lead materials to meet project schedules and budgets.

  • Coordinate suppliers logistics providers contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely material delivery.

  • Monitor inventory transportation warehousing and site logistics operations.

  • Support cost forecasting budget management and value engineering initiatives.

  • Negotiate supplier contracts and manage vendor performance.

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks material shortages and delivery constraints.

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop logistics plans reporting and supply chain performance metrics.

  • Support project closeout activities including material reconciliation and supplier evaluations.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Experience managing supply chain procurement and logistics for large-scale construction mission-critical or data center projects.

  • Strong knowledge of material planning inventory management transportation and vendor management.

  • Strong understanding of procurement workflows requisitions purchase orders expediting and vendor management.

  • Ability to manage budgets forecasts and cost-saving initiatives.

  • Strong negotiation problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with ERP procurement and inventory management systems.

  • Excellent communication organization and project coordination abilities.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel scheduling tools and project reporting systems.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in supply chain management Construction Management Engineering Business or a related field.

  • Experience: 5 years of experience in procurement/supply chain in an industrial or construction environment

  • Preferred Certification: CPSM CSCP PMP or equivalent.

The salary range for this full-time role is $104600.00-$139466.68 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position geography client and industry experience and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range depending on a candidates experience skills and qualifications including client requirements.
