PROCUREMENTCONTRACTING SUPPORT SPECIALIST (Req 26 019)

Responsibilities: Serve as an organizational SME on the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense the Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) series to support the Dam Neck Activity (DNA) in procuring goods and services and/or develop or streamline procurement daily program analytical and acquisition management support to in the development of large contract packages. Support requirements stakeholders across the Department by assisting with the development of clear concise and unambiguous contract requirements. Review and recommend corrections if required to all contracting documents to ensure quality adherence to development standards and that documents align with technical requirements. Coordinate and attend meetings as required. Generate Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) for the procurement process track procurement schedules IAW N0017825F3005 milestones and generate status reports and briefs as directed. Support the development of new internal processes to streamline the procurement and contracting process. Support the development of long-term procurement strategies and plans.
