Procurement Specialist

ARETUM a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist at ARETUM you will play a crucial role in managing our procurement processes and ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.

ARETUM is known for providing cutting-edge solutions and outstanding service to Federal clients in various sectors including Next Generation Analytics Engineering Services Training Services IT Systems Cyber Security PMO Support and Financial Consulting. • Perform and document requirements analyses
• Coordinate with business owners to draft procurement request documentation including statements of work or performance work statements and IGCEs
• Conduct and document alternatives analyses as well as market research
• Conduct and document procurement risk assessments
• Prepare and implement procurement strategies ensuring compliance with appropriate guidelines
• Develop Capital Planning and Investment Control documentation and manage the Capital Planning and Investment Control Process in accordance with OMB Circular A-11 as well as applicable DHS instructions

• Salary Range: $150000$170000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including education experience qualifications skills and applicable contract requirements.
• Masters Degree preferably in the fields of finance or accounting.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
• 10 years of demonstrated experience required.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities at once.
• Must possess strong interpersonal communications and teamwork skills.
• Must be an exceptional writer.
• Enjoys a team-oriented environment but able to function independently.
• Takes ownership of projects and can prioritize assignments.
• Ability/Willingness to Travel to Washington DC occasionally.
• Eligibility to receive DHS suitability required. Current DHS Suitability preferred.
