Starting Salary Range: $65000 - 80000

SUMMARY

As a Procurement Specialist you willbe responsible forsourcingpurchasing andprocuringgoods and services essential for the operations of the organization. You will collaborate with various departments to understand their needsidentifysuitable suppliers review contracts and ensuretimelydelivery of products and services whilemaintainingcost-efficiency and quality standards. Your role requires meticulous attention to detail strong negotiation skills and the ability to build andmaintainrelationships with vendorsand suppliers.

• Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors based on price quality and delivery speed.

• Review contracts with the Senior Procurement Manager and provide feedback onthe changes needed.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.

• Analyze market trends supply base and industry best practices toidentifyopportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

• Maintainaccuraterecords of purchases pricing and inventory on hand.

• Compile monthly inventory countsenterdatainto a spreadsheet forreconciliationand ensure accuracy of data and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.

• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns related to quality delivery or pricing.

• Manage relationships with key suppliers foster long-termpartnershipsand resolve disputes when necessary.

• Coordinate with receiving and inventory teams to ensuretimelyreceipt and inspection ofpurchasedgoods.

• Providefeedback andupdates as needed on procurement activities including cost savings initiatives and supplierperformance.

• Stay informed about market changes new products and emerging trends in procurement and supply chain management.

• Participate in cross-functional teams and projects to support organizational goals and initiatives.

• Utilizevariousanalyticalcreativeorproblem-solving techniques to support organizational goalsinitiativesor supplier relationships.

• Managemultiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• At leastBachelors degree in Businessor related field and at least2yearsof related experience OR6years ofpurchasingexperiencerequired.

• At least 2 years of experience withrelevant laws regulations and ethical standards related to procurement andsupply chain management preferred.

• At least2yearsof experience withMicrosoft office (Excel PowerPoint Word) andanERP system. SAP experience ispreferred.

• At least2yearsof experience withprocurement processes contract management and supplier relationship management.
