Job Summary
Job Title: Procurement Lead
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Location: San Marcos Texas

About this role
The Procurement Lead manages day-to-day operational and tactical buying activities toensure uninterrupted material flow supporting Noveons magnet manufacturing role owns purchase order execution supplier delivery performance and inventoryreplenishment translating production demand signals into timely cost-effectiveprocurement actions. The Procurement Lead also owns spend analytics and supplierperformance reporting manages structural supply risk for critical materials and partnersclosely with production planning and accounts payable to maintain continuity of supply forraw materials MRO and indirect spend.
This role requires a rare combination of strategic thinking technical fluency in rare earth and advanced materials markets and hands-on procurement execution capability.

What Youll Be Doing:
Executing and managing purchase orders from requisition through receipt ensuringaccuracy of pricing quantities lead times and delivery dates.
Converting demand and replenishment signals into timely buying actions to maintaintarget inventory and safety stock levels without overstocking.
Expediting and de-expediting orders to align supply with shifting productionschedules and resolve shortages delays and discrepancies.
Monitoring and driving supplier delivery performance (OTIF) holding vendorsaccountable to committed lead times and quality requirements.
Owning monthly spend analytics and supplier scorecard reporting including savingspipeline tracking and procurement KPI reporting and present insights to supply chainand finance leadership.
Developing and maintaining supply risk-mitigation strategies including assurance ofsupply single-source risk reduction alternative-supplier qualification and exposureto tariff and critical-material availability.
Monitoring market conditions and pricing for assigned categories providing marketintelligence to inform sourcing and inventory decisions for critical raw materials.
Resolving invoice receipt and PO discrepancies in partnership with Accounts Payableand Receiving.
Maintaining accurate item master vendor pricing and lead-time data in the ERPsystem.
Managing MRO and indirect spend buying identifying tactical cost-savings andconsolidation opportunities.
Supporting strategic sourcing initiatives by providing transactional data spendanalysis and supplier performance input.
Ensuring procurement activity complies with internal controls approval authoritymatrices and audit requirements.

We are looking for someone who:
Has a bachelors degree in Supply Chain Engineering Materials Science Business or a related field
Brings 5 years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience with atleast 3 years in a leadership role
Has a proven ability to negotiate complex long-term supply agreements withsignificant dollar value
Possesses strong financial acumen comfortable with cost modeling TCO analysisand working capital trade-offs
Has experience managing supply chains with geopolitical or regulatory complexity(ITAR EAR conflict minerals country-of-origin requirements)
Can demonstrate exceptional interpersonal negotiation and executive communicationskills
Is proficient in SAP S/4HANA with hands-on experience configuring and maintainingMRP parameters
Has a proven ability to negotiate complex long-term supply agreements withsignificant dollar value
Possesses strong financial acumen comfortable with cost modeling TCO analysisand working capital trade-offs

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk phone use and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift/move up to 15 pounds at times.
